Fun fact!
Women have actually had the right to vote in America since it first became a nation. It was only implied on a nation level, since nation voting laws did not expressly forbid it, and was given as an expressed right in some states.
However, later this ability was expressly revoked by certain parties in power who found that women tended to not favor their political views. It was never restored until generations later when the women's suffrage movement began.
